Julien Guillaumin, Doct Vet, DACVECC

Julien is currently Associate Professor in Emergency and Critical Care at the Ohio State University, where he has been working since 2009. He is also the director of the Blood Bank. Julien obtained his DVM degree from the Ecole Nationale Veterinaire de Nantes (France) in 2001, completed 2 internships and worked for a couple of years as an Emergency Doctor, and also as a ECC clinician in both private practice and university setting. He completed his ECC residency training at the University of California in Davis in 2009. Julien is also boarded of the European College of Veterinary Emergeny and Critical Care. His specific interests at SIRS, MODS and septic shock, trauma, shock and fluid resuscitation, blood banking, transfusion medicine and disorders of coagulation, including thrombosis.
