Sandra Grossman, PhD

Sandra  Grossman's love of animals comes from growing up surrounded by all types of pets and learning the many lessons they shared with her. Sandra has her Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology and spent 20 years  as a business/marketing consultant. She is a Certified Pet Loss Counselor and a Certified Compassion Fatigue Educator. She is also the Vice President of the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement.

 Sandra is the co-founder of PetLoss Partners  and Compassionate Practice Veterinary Consulting. Her work includes supporting pet parents who are dealing with aging/ailing pets and those pet parents who have lost a beloved pet. In addition she provides education and support to Veterinary professionals in areas such as Compassion Fatigue/Self Care, Communications, and Teamwork.

 Sandra  co-authored the End of Life Care/Pet Loss  Study which offers Veterinary professionals insight into what is important to pet parents during their pets' end-of-life care.

 She is currently finishing her book, "Creating a Compassionate Practice for Clients and Veterinary Professionals
