Andrew Turkell, DVM, CVA, CCRT, CHTV

Dr. Andrew Turkell, a graduate of Araneta University in Manila, The Philippines, has been practicing in South Florida since 1980. He has built 6, AAHA, veterinary hospitals in Palm Beach County, the first one in Lake Worth. In September 2006, Dr. Turkell opened Calusa Veterinary Center, a 12,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility that provides both allopathic and holistic treatments for its patients, as well as hosting a 24/7 emergency room, referral center, rehab center and critical care unit. Dr. Turkell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, The International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, the Veterinary Rehabilitation Society, and the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society. He is certified in canine rehabilitation therapy (CCRT), veterinary acupuncture (CVA) veterinary hyperbarics (CHTV) and veterinary stem cell therapy (Vet Stem). Dr. Turkell has a special interest in veterinary hyperbarics and its use in regenerative stem cell protocols, along with acupuncture and veterinary rehabilitation. Dr. Turkell is one of a handful of veterinarians certified in veterinary hyperbarics by the National Board of Diving and hyperbaric Medicine (NBDHMT).
